It is the stated policy of the Irish Architectural Archive to publish works on or relating to Irish architecture. Publications produced by the Archive should:

• be designed to conform to and promote the aims and objectives of the Archive as set out in the Articles and Memorandum of Association of the institution.
• be based wholly or principally on material held by the Archive itself.
• be financed through independent fund-raising, and not from the day-to-day budget or current basic income.
