Manuscript and other collections

The Irish Architectural Archive holds academic, business, and personal records, dating from the eighteenth century to today, including the papers of  construction industry business such as quantity surveying firms and builders. Also held are the archives of representative organisations such as the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, the Architectural Association of Ireland and the Institution of Civil Engineers.

The Archive is a place of deposit for reports on protected structures generated in compliance with conditions of planning permission for the alteration or demolition of those structures.
